Meyer Family Vineyards - Chardonnay 2022
For Meyer's everyday Chardonnay, fruit comes off estate vineyards in Naramata and Okanagan Falls, plus trusted growers in Osoyoos and Naramata, all grown organically / sustainably. After whole cluster pressing and cold settling overnight, this was partially fermented in older French barrels and stainless, and then left on lees for 4 months, with MLF. Baked yellow apple, lemon custard, Bosc pear rule the medium bodied palate, decked with ample earthy lees, and seasoned with flax and brightened with some stony spices on the finish. An easy, softer style, ready to drink now, as intended.
