- We ship to BC addresses only (due to stringent provincial liquor regulations)
- $25 flat rate shipping on most orders. Excludes addresses beginning with V0 (rural BC postal code areas)
- $10-20 local delivery throughout Greater Victoria
- Free local delivery over $199 (Western Communities and Saanich Peninsula excluded)
- Free in-store pickup (orders are usually ready within 24 hours)
Delivery Information
Free Local Delivery when you spend $199 or more pre-tax (Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt + Saanich ONLY, excluding V9E). For all other delivery orders, a fee ranging from $10-20 will be calculated at checkout. Note - we now deliver to all of Greater Victoria including the Western Communities and Saanich Peninsula however rates differ depending on location. Delivery eligibility is calculated by postal code and outside of these areas Shipping or Pickup will be required or alternative arrangements made.
Deliveries are made Tuesday-Saturday between 11am-12pm or 4pm-5pm with Saturdays 1pm-3pm only.
***Important Note - orders must be placed the day prior to delivery.
We deliver to your home or office, even to your neighbour or concierge. Please note that a recipient must be present and of legal drinking age to accept the delivery and may be required to produce two pieces of Government ID. We can not leave your delivery on a porch or doorstep. Be sure to make note of your delivery details, buzzer numbers, or the name of who will sign for your delivery in the 'add order note' section of your cart or the 'add delivery instructions' section on the checkout page.
Please note adverse weather or road conditions and other events outside our reasonable control may result in late or cancelled deliveries. If your delivery is cancelled, we will deliver at the next available opportunity.
Pickup Information
Orders may be picked up instore 7 days per week. Your order may take approximately 24 hours to process or can be collected on the date selected during checkout. If you wish to collect your same day (excluding Sundays), it must be received prior to 3pm.
If someone is picking up your order for you, please note the name of the individual in the 'add order note' section of your cart or the 'add delivery instructions' section on the checkout page.
Government ID must be shown at the time of pickup.
Pickup orders will be held for 7 days unless otherwise requested. If the order is not picked up in that time the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Shipping Information
We ship to British Columbia addresses only.
Orders ship via Canada Post and require government ID to be delivered. We're not responsible for shipping costs incurred by lack of ID at delivery.
Vessel Liquor fulfils online orders through Canada Post. Alternate arrangements can be made for delivery by courier and other shipping companies provided the sender covers all charges resulting from the delivery. Contact us directly to make the necessary arrangements and pay any additional costs.
Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed and packed before it is shipped.
Shipping Rates
We now offer flat rate shipping for $25 on orders up to 12 bottles or equivalent (22kg/50lbs). BC province wide. *Excludes addresses beginning with V0 (rural BC postal code areas).
Canada Post Expedited Parcel service is used and all applicable conditions and details apply. For orders above this threshold, standard rates are provided.
Delivery Times
Delivery time is dictated by the Canada Post service selected and is shown at Checkout. Times may vary according to Canada Post; we do not control delivery of the package after it leaves Vessel.
Business Hours/Days
All orders ship Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays. Business hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm PST. Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed and packed before it is shipped.
Canada Post Shipping Details
Vessel Liquor fulfills online orders through Canada Post. A tracking number will be provided to you once your order has been shipped. All packages containing alcohol must be signed for upon delivery by an adult (19 years of age or older) and cannot be left on a doorstep, porch or other enclosure. Please be sure to verify your shipping address before submitting your order. Postal codes must be entered alpha numerically.
Wine delivery should be attempted at your door, although it is possible (especially in inclement weather) that a claim ticket is left in your community mailbox and not at your actual door.
If you are not normally home during regular delivery hours, we encourage you to have packages directed to a business address for prompt delivery.
Order Tracking
When your order is shipped from the Vessel, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment – this email will include a tracking number to enable you to track your package at www.canadapost.ca
Returned To Sender Packages
If you were not home at the time of delivery, or if there was no one over the age of 19 available to sign for the package, Canada Post will leave a door tag redirecting you to the nearest postal facility where you can pick up your shipment. The postal facility can also be located by imputing your tracking number into the Canada Post website. Your package will be held at the postal facility for 7 business days after the initial delivery attempt.
If the package has not been picked up within 7 business days, it will be returned to Vessel and you will be contacted. You will have the option to have the package reshipped to you at our regular shipping rates (outlined above) or made available for pickup at one of our store. Vessel is not responsible for additional shipping charges associated with return-to-sender packages.
Can I ship to multiple addresses?
You will need to create a new order if you would like to ship to more than one address. If you have an order with many different addresses and require assistance, contact us here.
