Le Piane - Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo 2020

This Nebbiolo is tipped with 5% Vespolina grapes from the Novara hills, in Altopiemonte. After a native ferment and 6 days of maceration, this aged nine months in steel. Tart cherry, red currant, perfumed red florals run the slender, lofted palate, hugged tightly with sticky/grippy nebbiolo tannins through the white pepper finish. Enjoy this youthful wine with a slight chill, and something savoury to meet those tannins (pizza night works).
