Domaine de la Mordorée - La Dame Rousse Tavel 2021

Domaine de la Mordorée is a family estate, created in 1986 by Francis and Christophe Delorme, the domaine brings together a 57-hectare vineyard divided into 38 plots spread over 8 communes. Is located in the south of France and also in the south of the Rhone Valley. Christophe is a perfectionist, passionate and visionary winemaker that has chosen to respect the terroir. The estate is organic in its entirety, with a biodynamic approach in the land and cellar. The harvest is all done by hand.

Structural, ageworthy, and bone dry, Tavel is a serious rosé, and the family-owned, biodynamic Domaine de la Mordorée is about as expressive as you can get. Wild raspberry, crushed stones, and scrubby herbs fill this limestone-laced blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette, and Bourboulenc.
