Education is one of the key pillars of Vessel Liquor Store. We host a series of wine, beer, and cocktail classes in our custom-built Cru's Nest Classroom, above Vessel, year round. Our instructors lead these friendly, accessible tasting seminars for enthusiasts. Classes are limited to 18 guests to ensure everyone has time to ask questions, learn, and taste. The Vancouver Island Sommelier Association (VISA) is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the first-ever VISA scholarships!
These scholarships offer an opportunity for three passionate and aspiring wine professionals on Vancouver Island to deepen their knowledge and advance their careers.
With the help of generous sponsors, Vessel Liquor Store, Coastal Craft Beverages, and Victoria International Wine Festival, VISA will be offering the following scholarships:
